Take it from a seasoned property owner; trail extension makes sense

My home is on the existing Coastal Trail. When the trail was first introduced, I was against it. I thought it would be an intrusion on privacy and be a potential threat to my property. Now I can't imagine living without it. I strongly support its extension

The current one is extremely popular and well used throughout the year. We need to provide more access so that all parts of our unique coastal area can be viewed by people in different parts of the city. We have the opportunity to obtain a large portion of funding from the federal government. Why not take advantage of this opportunity so that when completed, this coastal trail will be available for more to enjoy the wilderness in the city?
