We are in jeopardy of loosing the south Coastal Trail forever. I encourage anyone who wants to keep the trail alive to submit written comments by Monday (March 27th).
Ninety percent of the cost of the trail extension will be paid with federal money. Many changes have been made to minimize property crossings. The city wants to build it in phases to allow other planned trails to be completed.
As a Coastal Trail supporter who lives on the bluff in Oceanview, I am more than willing to share the refuge with the rest of Anchorage, but the rest of Anchorage must speak up.
